How It Works

A Structured Pathway

The 2+1(+1) pathway splits a traditional four-year degree across Iraq and the UK. Students gain a British qualification at a fraction of the cost of full UK study, while institutions gain a distinctive, globally recognised programme offering.

HND-Style Programme

Years 1–2

Students complete the first two years at their home institution in Iraq, following an HND-style programme designed to British standards. This is a new option for many Iraqi institutions.

Bachelor's Top-Up

Year 3

Students transfer to a UK university to complete a top-up year, earning a full British Bachelor's degree. This significantly reduces the cost and time spent in the UK.

Thesis / Capstone

Year 4

Students return to Iraq to complete a thesis or capstone project, meeting local degree requirements. The result: a British degree plus an Iraqi degree.
